Guess? creates 'look books' from iPad kiosks

November 29, 2011

Guess? Inc. tapped iPadEnclosures along with Global Bay-Mobile Technologies, to design and install its newest customer interaction stations in retail stores throughout New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Shoppers may peruse "Look Books," which are basically iPad kiosk stations with customized interaction applications provided by Global Bay. The kiosks, which are found throughout the store floors and dressing rooms, are designed to present a full line of products from the retail giant in an easy to use, and easy to understand, information station, according to a company press release.

The Guess? Look Book is the Sentinel Stand, one of many of iPadEnclosures's iPad kiosk products. It features castors, so it can roll easily, as well as a slot for a back-up battery that extends the the life of the iPad by 18 hours. The Sentinel Stand also has an option for speakers and is ADA compliant with tilting capabilities in the Kiosk Station to accommodate the variant heights of different customers.
