Halloween shopper will spend just over $100 this scary season

The Halloween shopper will spend an average of $103.63 with total spend projected to reach $11.6 billion, according to data from the National Retail Federation and Insights & Analytics.

Almost two-thirds of consumers, 72%, plan to celebrate the holiday, according to a NRF blog.

The biggest Halloween celebration fans are those 25 to 34 years old and more than half, 56%, were shopping for Halloween even before October arrived.
