COVID-19 has created a demand for touchless interaction due to health concerns, and as customers become more comfortable with the technology, that demand will only increase.
As a result, several self-service equipment manufacturers have developed touchless versions of their machines, which is requiring retailers and convenience services operators to vet the emerging technology.
Luckily, the Self-Service Innovation Summit, Dec. 14-16 in Hollywood, Florida, is addressing the issue in its upcoming session, "Touchless Vending and Coffee Service Machines: Success Beyond COVID," which features several convenience services operators discussing how they assess the current need for touchless technology and how to introduce it to customers.
Moderated by Ursina Beerli, the COO of Invenda Group, the session features:
