Hy-Vee selects Interactions for experiential marketing services

Interactions will engage shoppers through experiential marketing events in 50 store locations in Iowa, Illinois, Kansas and Missouri, with plans to expand to more than 145 stores throughout the year.

Retail marketing company Interactions announced it has teamed up with Hy-Vee, Inc., an employee-owned corporation operating 235 retail stores across eight Midwestern states. According to the companies, Interactions will engage shoppers through experiential marketing events in 50 store locations in Iowa, Illinois, Kansas and Missouri, with plans to expand to more than 145 stores throughout the year.

In addition to planned event services, Interactions will also collaborate with Hy-Vee to develop additional experiential marketing activities, such as new store openings, community events and Hy-Vee branded programs.

“Hy-Vee is a trusted household name in the supermarket industry, and Interactions is honored to partner with Hy-Vee and provide event services that deliver engaging experiences and build brand loyalty,” said Nicole LeMaire, Senior Director at Interactions. “We look forward to launching a best-in-class event program that will engage shoppers through unique and interactive in-store and outdoor experiential events.”

In 2014, Interactions conducted a pilot program for Hy-Vee, implementing in-store event programs in 12 stores.
