Invent.ai, an AI-native retail planning and inventory decisioning platform, has appointed Joe Groves as its new global chief revenue officer.

Groves, a veteran of high-growth retail technology platforms, brings decades of experience scaling businesses, leading high-performing global revenue organizations and driving measurable outcomes in complex, fast-moving markets, according to a press release.

"The retailers outperforming the market aren't just guessing less, they're deciding faster," Gurhan Kok, founder and CEO of invent.ai, said in the release. "Joe brings the expertise and vision to ensure our solutions reach the teams who need them most: those responsible for revenue, margin and operational efficiency. His leadership accelerates our mission to close the gap between plan and execution at scale."

Groves joins invent.ai after over 20 years at Centric Software and most recently as head of global sales, where he led international expansion, strengthened market positioning and built teams that consistently exceeded revenue targets.

At invent.ai, Groves will oversee global sales and customer growth initiatives, focusing on helping retailers turn operational data into real-time decisions that drive revenue, improve margins and optimize inventory.

"Retail isn't just about plans, it's about execution," Groves said in the release. "Margins are tighter, lead times are longer and planning stacks are lagging behind real-time demand. Invent.ai closes the gap between plan and reality, giving executives and operations leaders the signal they need to act decisively, every day."
