Amazon.com is planning to open an 800,000-square-foot fulfillment center in Jacksonville, FL. The center will create 1,500 full-time job openings.
"The new Amazon fulfillment center is an incredible win for northeast Florida, and marks the single largest jobs announcement in Jacksonville's history," said Jerry Mallot, president of JAXUSA Partnership, in a release.
