Kohl’s chief to lead Levi Strauss

Kohl's top chief, Michelle Gass, is leaving the role come December.

Gass is taking on the president role at Levi Strauss & Co. and will also become CEO at a later point, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

Gass' last day as Kohl's CEO will be Dec. 1. Tom Kingsbury, a board member, will serve as interim top leader until a permanent hire is made.

According to a statement from Levi, Gass will begin her new job in early 2023 and will replace current CEO Chip Bergh within 18 months.
