Department store chain Kohl’s plans to deploy self-service kiosks in all of its stores late this year. According to a report from Zebra Technologies’ Shelf Talker blog, the deployment comes on the heels of a “very successful” pilot test.
The news was cited March 19 by J.P. Morgan when it raised Kohl’s first-quarter profit estimate by five cents per share. The financial services firm also projects Kohl’s will continue to outperform its competitors in the mid-price department store sector.
