In the latest retail delivery news supermarket giant Kroger is reportedly mulling using driverless cars to its grocery delivery.
It is teaming up with Nuro, an autonomous car player, to launch the fleet, according to a CNBC report.
The news comes on the heels of Amazon developing its own delivery brand and fleet and as retailers ramp up delivery options to meet consumer needs and expectations.
Just a few months earlier Kroger announced it had an exclusive deal with online grocer Ocado, based in Britain, to use its automated warehouse technology.
