Love’s Travel Stops deploys 2nd California Jamba by Blendid

Jamba, a global lifestyle brand serving on-the-go freshly blended fruit and vegetable smoothies, bowls and bites, and Blendid, a robotic foodservice solutions provider, have teamed up with Love's Travel Stops to open a second Jamba by Blendid autonomous robotic smoothie kiosk, according to a press release.

The kiosk is located at the rest area in Corning, California on I-5, Exit 630/South Avenue between Williams and Redding, the second Jamba by Blendid pilot location for Love's Travel Stop following the kiosk that opened in September 2022 in Williams, California.

"We're excited to build off the success of our first location and look forward to serving professional drivers and four-wheel customers in Corning, California," Joe Cotton, vice president of foodservice for Love's, said in the press release.

The kiosk will allow motorists to customize their smoothie orders around the clock by adjusting ingredient quantities or adding boosts directly through the Blendid app. They can order on-site or schedule a pick-up time in advance when they order on the Blendid app.

Jamba by Blendid kiosks leverage Blendid's contactless food automation platform, foodOS, a patented machine learning, robotics and artificial intelligence enabled system, to provide motorists with food options made on-demand and customized to meet individual preferences at any time of day.

Jamba by Blendid currently has seven operating kiosk locations, with presence in colleges and universities, shopping centers, and now travel centers.
