Lowe’s, Instacart team up on delivery effort

Lowe's and Instacart are teaming up to pilot same-day delivery and the move is the first time a home improvement retailer is on the Instacart platform.

The delivery collaboration reflects a "growing consumer need," said Instacart, according to a Fox Business report.

The goal is delivery in an hour in two markets with expansion in the future months. Boston and Charlotte are the pilot test areas.
