Athletic leisurewear retailer lululemon is prepping paid membership services related to workout programs that could boast perks including access to in-person store and community events.
The services are expected to debut later this year, according to a Wall Street Journal report, and are aimed at building stronger customer loyalty and increased workout product sales.
The subscriptions could range from a free option that may offer early product access to one costing $39 a month that offers access to online workout programs.
The latter option may require the purchase of a mirror device, which costs over $1,000, according to the news report, but an option not requiring the mirror could be forthcoming in a year.
