MarketLive announces vetted partner ecosystem

E-commerce platform MarketLive has announced MarketLive Implement, an implementations services program to enable a vetted ecosystem of partners to extend the capabilities of MarketLive’s core e-commerce technology platform.

According to the company, MarketLive Implement was designed to expand the implementation services available to retailers by training a select group of Systems Integrators on the implementation of the MarketLive platform. The new program is the capstone piece that completes a trio of partner programs that also include MarketLive Connect (a vetted network of pre-integrated technology extensions) and MarketLive Refer (a network of digital agencies). The goal of MarketLive’s partner ecosystem is to enable merchants to quickly customize and deploy e-commerce features and functionality in response to market demands, yet maintain code quality and operations compatibility with MarketLive’s Total Commerce platform.

“As in all of our partnership programs, we will carefully select the integrators with whom we will work and will ensure they are thoroughly trained. We do the homework to ensure that our customers benefit from best of breed solutions and receive an excellent implementation experience,” said Ken Burke, founder and CEO of MarketLive, Inc. “MarketLive Implement gives our merchants more options in the marketplace for services work that meets their specific cost and timeframe requirements.”

Potential MarketLive Implement partners must complete a MarketLive certified developer program, adhere to MarketLive’s best coding practices, and demonstrate familiarity with MarketLive technology. All MarketLive partners are expected to do code training, software release training, and co-development work. MarketLive Implement partners will work directly with MarketLive for site provisioning and code reviews, ensuring customers of smooth operations once their site is deployed.
