When it comes to online shopping 63% more male consumers shop online every day than women and 73% identify as the primary decision maker when it comes to household purchases.
Those are top findings from Jungle Scout's Q2 2023 consumer trends report.
The report also revealed male consumers shop from a wider variety of e-commerce sites and stores, compared to women, according to a press release on the findings.
With regard to consumers and how they view inflation, 28% of those polled said overall spending in Q2 2023 increased from Q1 yet 81% said inflation is affecting spending as of Q2.
"There is no single consumer persona, and we continuously see that in research and trends," Michael Scheschuk, president of small and medium business at Jungle Scout, said in the release. "By recognizing and embracing the diverse preferences and needs of consumers, brands can create personalized experiences that foster long-lasting satisfaction and loyalty."
