Mizrahi parts ways with Target, joins Liz Claiborne

Associated Press: Apparel and accessories manufacturer Liz Claiborne Inc. says designer Isaac Mizrahi has been named creative director for the Liz Claiborne brand in an effort to rejuvenate the aging label. By signing on with Liz Claiborne, Mizrahi is also ending his contract with Target Corporation. He had worked with the Minneapolis-based discount retailer for five years to create the Isaac Mizrahi for Target collection.
