A hefty majority, 87%, of U.S. consumers plan to celebrate July 4 this year, a 3% increase over 2022, according to a Numerator data report.

A good number of those planning to celebrate will also be looking for savings with 27% planning to increase coupon use, 20% aiming to hit local dollar stores and 16% expecting to switch to store brands, according to a press release on the data findings.

The data also revealed that three quarters of those polled expect rising prices to impact their holiday spending and two fifths expect inflation to impact spending with 52% stating they plan to buy items on sale.
