American consumers, over 80%, are increasingly concerned about the impact of tariffs on their spending power.
That's a top finding from an Optimove Insight report that surveyed 1,066 U.S. consumers with household incomes over $75,000, according to a press release. Nearly just as many, 80.5%, are concerned about inflation. Optimove Insights is the research and analysis arm of Optimove.
"These findings are a wake-up call to marketers," Pini Yakuel, CEO of Optimove, said in the release. "Now more than ever, consumers feel economic pressures. Marketers need agility and empathy to respond in real time. Brands must acknowledge financial anxiety through supportive, empathic messaging."
