A hefty number of U.S. consumers, 87%, will celebrate Thanksgiving this year with 80% of turkey day shoppers expecting to all or most of their shopping in-store.

But even more, 90%, will celebrate Christmas with 80% purchasing gifts and 44% of shoppers planning to split purchases evenly between in-store and online.

Those are top findings from Numerator's Q4 2024 Holiday Preview report that included a survey of over 5,300 consumers and their plans for the four major holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve).
