Most consumers will ditch a preferred brand to save money

A good number of American consumers believe brands are using inflation as an excuse to increase prices and 88% are willing to ditch a preferred brand to save money.

Those are top findings from a study from consumer research platform Attest.

Food and beverage brands are the products consumers are mostly likely to switch to save money, followed by clothing and shoes, according to a press release on the findings.

The research polled 2,000 working-age consumers in the U.S. in mid February of this year.
