Luxury retailer Neiman Marcus is reportedly looking at possibly dividing the company into three specific business units, disconnecting its online store from its physical retail operations and spinning of its Bergdorf Goodman brand.
The strategy approach wouldn't impact the customer experience, according to a New York Post report.
The news comes on the heels of Saks, a prime competitor, undertaking a similar approach and attaining hefty funding from a venture capital firm.
