Olympic gold medalist gymnast Shannon Miller is serving as Hershey’s brand ambassador during the Rio 2016 Olympic games.

Olympic gold medalist gymnast Shannon Miller is serving as Hershey's brand ambassador during the Rio 2016 Olympic games.

The ambassador effort is part of a two-year partnership with the USA Gymnastics team and has Hershey Company serving as the official confectionery sponsor, according to a Zacks report.

The brand effort will feature the company's new campaign, "Hello Happy. Hello Hershey’s," which began in February.

"The recent partnership should further be able to grow its brand presence through this deal. The affiliation with the former gymnast Miller and the USA Gymnastics team should boost its value, especially ahead of the Olympics," states the Zack report.
