Amazon is now deploying its own delivery service, run by third-party leasee, featuring blue vans with the company logo, driver uniforms and business services support.
The Amazon delivery fleet is leased by third parties and Amazon said it provides customers benefits that other services such as UPS and FedEx don't provide — such as tracking packages on a map, contacting a driver or changing actual delivery destination, according to a New York Post report.
Running an Amazon delivery route can cost $10,000 and upward though Amazon declined to state what it will pay the delivery services under its brand, according to the report.
