Those in Miami eager to use online grocer, Farmstead, are one step closer to achieving that goal as the grocer has opened the waitlist for its Miami service launch, slated for end of March.

The waitlist, according to a press release, will be limited to 1,000 customers. Miami is Farmstead's fifth market and its service is up and running in the San Francisco Bay area and Charlotte, North Carolina. Waitlists are in process for Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina and Nashville, Tennessee. Those latter areas are also slated to open by the end of the first quarter.

"We are thrilled to bring Farmstead from the Bay Area to Miami," Pradeep Elankumaran, co-founder and CEO of Farmstead, said in the release. "Miami is a vibrant, modern city with a growing tech scene, the perfect profile for Farmstead's online grocery service. We're excited to improve access to high quality food, delivered right to their doorsteps, to every resident in Miami."
