OnQ appoints retail leader Stuart Armstrong to board

June 8, 2021

Stuart Armstrong, a longtime retail leader in the CPG industry, has been appointed to the board at OnQ, a custom retail display manufacturer. The appointment marks the first time someone outside of OnQ has been recruited to join the board, according to a press release.

Armstrong has served in retail leadership roles for the past three decades, focused primarily on shopper engagement technologies and category management best practices. In the early-2000s he served as president of the Digital Screenmedia Association, while also serving as president and chief revenue officer of ComQi for over a decade.

"Throughout Stu's career, he's built a track record of helping organizations play to their strengths, while chasing opportunities to grow their business," Paul Chapuis, OnQ CEO, said in the release. "That vision and tenacity are welcome additions to the board, and I'm excited to have his voice at the table as we chart an aggressive path forward for OnQ."

"I've dedicated my career to understanding how consumers behave — learning how to connect with them and figuring out how to not just make a sale, but to build customer loyalty over the long term," Stu Armstrong said in the release. "My worldview on the retail space aligns well with OnQ's mission to deliver a better shopping experience, and I'm excited to lend my perspective to the board to help the company further its mission and grow the business."
