Buyers' remorse is hitting consumers who made some regretful purchases during the pandemic's heyday.
One in 10 have regrets over something bought during the COVID-19 year and the items range from gaming equipment to home goods and even clothing and jewelry, according to a study from insurance company Aviva.
Also on the regret list, according to a BBC report on the findings, are hot tubs, bread makers and pizza ovens.
"So much has changed since the start of 2020. The way we work, how we interact with others, and it seems the contents of our homes too. Faced with weeks or months at home, many of us made purchases to entertain ourselves, often costing hundreds or even thousands of pounds," Nicki Charles, customer and marketing director at Aviva, told the news outlet.
