Pet Supermarket taps retail veteran as CEO

Rich Tannenbaum has been named as CEO for Pet Supermarket, a pet supply retailer with over 225 locations.
Tannenbaum has over two decades of retail, e-commerce and consumer good experience and most recently led the global supply chain and operations teams at Five Below, according to a press release.
"It is an incredible honor to be selected as Pet Supermarket's next CEO, and to lead and serve this great organization," Tannenbaum said in the release. "I appreciate the leadership and work of all who came before me to build Pet Supermarket into the successful business and brand it is today. I am thrilled to help lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and success."
Tannenbaum also held leadership roles at The Vitamin Shoppe and PetSmart where he worked across business units to grow these businesses.
