PetSmart teams with Afterpay on payment options

PetSmart is partnering with Afterpay, a payments provider, to give customers flexible payment options when shopping online and in-store.

The Afterpay option allows customers to buy now, pay later via four interest-free installments, according to a press release. It is available for all the pet retailer's products as well as services, training programs and day camps.

"Afterpay empowers our customers with the financial freedom and flexibility to make purchases at PetSmart quickly and easily — and on their terms," Will Smith, PetSmart senior vice president and chief marketing officer, said in the release. "We're excited to provide this innovative program to our customers, whether they're shopping in store or online."
