PGA Tour store hits 50-store milestone

PGA Tour Superstore has opened its 50th store, marking a milestone, with a 34,000-square foot location in San Antonio, Texas.

At its grand opening this month the store offered $30,000 in giveaways and will donate $15,000 to the local First Tee affiliated branch, First Tee of Greater San Antonio, according to a press release.

"By its very nature, golf is a game that brings people together. It's a game that keeps us fit and engaged and a fun way to spend time with friends and family," Dick Sullivan, president and CEO, PGA TOUR Superstore, said in the release. "With nearly 40 golf courses in the San Antonio area, we're excited to welcome both new and seasoned golfers into our store for all of their golf needs."

The store features a state-of-the-art fitting studio and a virtual course and a custom-made 1,300 square foot putting green.
