Pretty Green adds virtual fitting room Fits.me

August 25, 2011

Fits.me virtual fitting roomPretty Green, the British clothing label founded and designed by Liam Gallagher, is launching the Fits.me Virtual Fitting Room tool on its e-commerce website.

According to the company, Pretty Green is now among the many notable fashion outlets, including Gilt Groupe and the world's largest online fashion retailer, Otto Group, to utilize Fits.me's patented technology to help their customers achieve the perfect fit when purchasing apparel online.

Through the Fits.me application, Pretty Green's online customers can enter their measurements to see a virtual model of the same shape and size as themselves. They can then try different sizes of garments on the model and choose the size that fits best.

"Pretty Green advocates high end British, well-fitted style," says Heikki Haldre, CEO and co-founder of Fits.me Virtual Fitting Room. "Fits.me will allow customers to see how fitted or generous a garment's cut is and make the choices they feel comfortable with. Fits.me does not only fit the customers' sizes – it fits their styles."

As fashion is among the most emotional of purchases, poor-fitting garments received by the customer hurt the retailer's bottom line and the value of the brand. Fits.me technology will give Pretty Green customers the confidence that they are selecting the right sizes and styles, reducing the number of returns and Pretty Green's costs, and increasing the number of sales.
