Prime Day arriving late June, claims report

Amazon's annual big sale, Prime Day, is reportedly happening June 21-22, according to a Fortune report citing a Bloomberg story.

Amazon has not officially announced when the event is happening this year but stated in its SEC filing it would be before the start of the third quarter.

The sales event, which began six years ago, was held in the fall of 2020 rather than the summer timeframe of previous years due to the COVID-19 pandemic that hit the U.S. in March 2020.
