Report: Ralph Lauren shutting NYC store, prepping layoffs in reorg effort

Ralph Lauren will shutter its Fifth Avenue New York City store, slice jobs and close offices as part of a reorganization, according to a Market Watch report.

There will be no big sales or discounts during the store's closing as the company expects to move inventory into its seven New York stores. The company is developing potential new retail concepts, store format options and revising its digital formats, according to Market Watch.
