Retail Week Technology Award winners announced

Retail Week: Despite the downturn in the economy, a strong crowd of retailers and their suppliers turned out Tuesday night for an event in London to celebrate the important role that technology and IT departments have made to the industry in the past year.

Of particular note were Asos, who took to the stage en masse to collect the award for IT Team of the Year; and Sainsbury's IT and change director Angela Morrison, who was presented with an outstanding contribution award.
