The bribes are plentiful this back-to-school season as retailers vie for a piece of the $83.8 billion that the National Retail Federation expects Americans to spend on school supplies and clothes. For example, J.C. Penney is tempting parents by offering kids free haircuts, Abercrombie is selling jeans for half off, and Microsoft is taking the freebies up a notch by giving away Xboxes with each computer purchase, according to the Washington Post.
