Riesback's Food Markets, an Ohio/West Virginia supermarket chain, has deployed an online shopping and order fulfillment platform powered by eGrowcery.
The technology is aimed at making shopping online and fulfilling orders in the store easier and enhancing the user experience, according to a press release.
The eGrowcery platform offers online shopping, pick-up and delivery, aiming to exceed the industry average 3% growth rate for e-commerce sales.
Retailers upgrading to eGrowcery's unified commerce platform see as much as a 23% increase in sales, right out of the gate, according to the release.
"Our previous e-commerce system helped us connect with our customers before the pandemic, but as the industry changed and shopper expectations evolved, we needed a solution that delivers speed, convenience and the tools necessary to drive market penetration and shopper sales. Partnering with eGrowcery allows us to take a significant step forward, with early feedback from our store teams already positive. Our goal is clear— to exceed industry growth rates and bring our customers the best possible digital experience," Brian Riesbeck, CEO of Riesbeck's Food Markets, said in the release.
Riesbeck's Food Markets, founded in 1925, is an employee-owned supermarket chain with 17 locations.
