Rim Baltic has deployed the SymphonyAI Retail CPG space platform across its stores in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania and is now working with the technology provider to implement floor planning.
The goal is to achieve greater efficiencies and boost communications between headquarters and store locations, according to a press release.
Rimi Baltic and SymphonyAI are also implementing planogram automation across all stores.

"We look forward to continuing to drive innovation and improve our operations with the help of these tools. In the coming months, we will leverage advanced space planning capabilities, including floor planning across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, with the help of dedicated expertise from SymphonyAI to achieve the measurable business impact goals defined for this expansion phase."
Rimi Baltic, which is part of the Swedish ICA group, is one of the largest retailers in the Baltic states and operates four chains: Rimi Hyper, Rimi Super, Rimi Mini and Rimi Express. The company employs more than 12,000 across the Baltics.
