Rocky Mountain High Brands taps geofencing to drive retail traffic

Consumer goods company Rocky Mountain High Brands is teaming with Beasley Media Group to launch geofencing services in a quest to drive customer traffic to stores carrying the brand's beverages.

The company expects to roll out the hyperlocal marketing effort through the southern California market in a partnership with Statewide Beverage Company, according to a press release.

"We will drive traffic to Statewide's retailers through messages appearing on consumers' smart phones directing them to the nearest retailer to stock up on Rocky Mountain High. The message will also include a discount coupon," Michael Welch, president and CEO of Rocky Mountain High Brands, said in the release.
