Salt Life brand expanding store footprint

Salt Life, a retail brand under the Delta Apparel Inc. umbrella, is opening stores in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Galveston, Texas this year.

"The communities in Myrtle Beach and Galveston truly fit the lifestyle of the Salt Life brand, and we are looking forward to this opportunity to engage with all those who share our passion for the water," Jeff Stillwell, Salt Life president, said in a release on the opening plans.

The brand was founded in 2003 by four ocean lovers from Florida and is focused on a lifestyle centered with those who love the sea.

The Myrtle Beach location is set to open late August. The Galveston location, opening later this fall, marks the brand's first retail store in the state of Texas, bringing the total Salt Life branded store count to 13. The brand expects to launch five additional retail locations in 2022.
