Sears launching "Blue Blogger Crew"

At the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Sears will unveil its "Blue Blogger Crew," a team of five independent and well-regarded bloggers that will cover technology. On its blog, the Hoffman Estates, IL-based retailer says this is "is an opportunity for our peers (i.e. fellow gadget geeks) to share their knowledge and experience in the technology space with their readers and followers, as well as our customers."

The Crew will consist of:

• Jenna Hatfield, lead blogger at Stop, Drop and Blog
• Kris Cain, Kris Cain, lead blogger for LittleTechGirl, Tech Editor on Mom Blog Magazine, Host of Tech Talk After Dark on MomTV
• Andru Edwards, CEO of Gear Live Media and lead blogger for Gear Live
• Kelly Clay, of Lockergnome
• Barbara Rozgonyi, founder of the Chicago chapter of the Social Media Club

Sears acknowledges that it is covering travel expenses for the crew, but says that otherwise they will be independent voices.
