SHOP.com adds merchants to its site search

LAS VEGAS — SHOP.com, a destination-comparison shopping engine designed for women, has added merchant partners Land of Nod, Perry Ellis, Chiasso and Office Depot to its list of top-tier merchants and specialty retailers.
The announcement was made this week during the Shop.org Annual Summit.
According to a news release, SHOP.com's latest merchants join as part of the site's flexible media model, which provides cost-per-click or cost-per-order programs. SHOP.com allows merchants to have product listings integrated into the site's search engine, helping them gain access to qualified and targeted customers.
"Comparison shopping sites such as SHOP.com will continue to gain momentum as more price-sensitive shoppers do their homework," said SHOP.com chief executive Ken Goldstein. "SHOP.com goes an extra step to help customers save time and money with tools such as buying guides and coupon aggregation."
Merchants joining the site's CPC program, such as Office Depot, allow consumers to purchase directly from the partner store, while the CPO program allows consumers to browse and purchase items using SHOP.com's proprietary shopping cart, called OneCart.
SHOP.com provides product information from top retailers such as:
