Snack bot delivers campus retail snacking experience

January 7, 2019

Satisfying a snacking urge at the University of the Pacific is a bit easier thanks to a self-driving robot that now delivers food and drink to more than 50 areas on the California campus.

The snack robot, a collaboration between PepsiCo's Hello Goodness and Robby Technologies, offers options from chips to healthy water between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to a USA Today report.

The campus is serving as a test site for the robotic delivery with three to five of the robots on campus.
