Survey: Multichannel customers are more profitable

Internet Retailer: Customers who shop across multiple channels are more profitable than others, agree 56 percent of retailers in a new study by research and consulting firm Retail Systems Research. And half of those retailers say such customers are much more profitable. But data consistency and effective use of cross-channel data remain big hurdles to serving consumers efficiently across the channels of store, Web and catalog.
