Just one day after Amazon announced the official days of its annual two-day Prime Day sales event, competitor Target announced its own three-day deal event — boasting 24 additional hours of sales over Prime Day.
The retailer's Deal Days sale will kick off June 20 and end June 22, according to a Good Morning America report. Prime Day runs from June 20 to June 21.
Target's deals will include sales on food and beverages, a first for the retailer. Prime Day does not include grocery products.
"Our industry-leading, safe and easy fulfillment options deliver same-day joy — with no waiting or membership fee required," Christina Hennington, Target's executive vice president and chief growth officer, told the news program.
