Target goes with tradition for Thanksgiving

Despite the fact more than a few retailers are closing on Thanksgiving and many others are adjusting hours, Target is sticking with what it says works and works well.

The retailer will once again do a 10-day deal marketing campaign and open at 6 p.m. on turkey day, with most stores open until late evening on Black Friday, according to a CNBC report.

"Shopping on the evening of Thanksgiving really has become an activity for the entire family to enjoy," Janna Potts, chief stores officer, told CNBC.
