Teen retailer Wet Seal shutting all stores

Wet Seal is closing all its stores after efforts to find a buyer and new capital failed, according to a Market Watch report.

The teen fashion retailer could not find a strategic financing partner and will shutter all 171 locations.

The retailer's move comes on the heels of similar retail financial troubles at American Apparel and Limited Stores, notes the report.

According to a New York Post report, Eastern Mountain Sports and Bob's Stores are on the verge of bankruptcy.
