About 180 Toys "R" Us stores will be closing their doors as the struggling retailer continues its reorganization strategy related to its bankruptcy in the fall of 2017.
Citing a court filing Bloomberg reported Wednesday the store closures, which represents 20 percent of Toys "R" Us' U.S. footprint, needs court approval. If approved the stores will begin shuttering in February. Bloomberg stated that at least half of the closures are Babies "R" Us stores.
