U.K. retail design suffering from neglect

Spring Fair: David Dalziel of top retail design consultancy Dalziel + Pow said that store design has been much neglected of late, and that shop owners shouldn't let a fear of the credit crunch put them off investing in design. He told visitors to Summer Fair in London that investment in store design will translate into sales.

"The big trend in design is design itself, but we suffer in retail from neglect. There are a lot of bad shops out there," he said.
