US retail sales growth hits a low point

Sluggish auto sales in November are being blamed for slower than expected retail sales growth in November.

The U.S. retail segment experienced a 0.1 percent increase, the smallest gain over the past three months, according to a Market Watch report.

Yet retail holiday sales predictions will likely change the trend, notes the report.
