Vehicle registration renewal kiosk moves to Kroger store in Georgia

A kiosk that allows vehicle owners to skip the trip to the county office to renew their vehicle tags has relocated from the county tax commissioner's office to the Kroger store at New Holland Marketplace on Jesse Jewell Parkway in Gainesville, Georgia, according to The Gainesville Times. The fee is $3.95.

Hall, Banks, Dawson and Jackson counties partner for the kiosk service, according to a prepared statement.

Darla Eden, county tax commissioner, said residents take the renewal form they received in the mail, scan the barcode at the kiosk or enter their driver's license number, and their decal is printed.
