Vestcom acquires Electronic Label Technology

November 30, 2008

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Vestcom International Inc., provider of data-driven shelf-edge marketing solutions to major retailers and brand manufacturers in the grocery, drug, and mass merchandising industries, announced the acquisition of Oklahoma-based ELT Inc., an in-store communications company that supplies shelf labels and signs for a broad base of retail and industrial uses. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Combining the two companies makes it possible for Vestcom to expand its reach and presence throughout the retail community with an even wider choice of materials and faster turnaround times for the innovative shelf-edge communications and specialized marketing services the company delivers. ELT, founded in 1981, is recognized for its label production, using leading-edge print technology in a proprietary system to produce ready-to-use customized labels and signs. Vestcom's focus on effective in-store marketing will be enhanced with the addition of these production capabilities.
