Mobile marketing firm Vibes has announced the release of personalized Push Messaging, integrated with Catapult, its mobile relationship management platform for brands. With nearly 90 percent of consumers more likely to sign up for mobile messages if they are personalized, Vibes said its new solution gives businesses a more targeted approach to connecting with customers, by creating highly relevant messages based on consumer preferences, location and timing. It also allows businesses to distribute these personalized messages across a consumer’s preferred mobile channel, such as SMS, Push messaging or through mobile wallet apps like Apple’s Passbook and Google Wallet — which are also integrated into Catapult.
“Personalization is critical for any business that wants to engage with and market to consumers on their mobile devices,” said Jack Philbin, co-founder and CEO of Vibes. “Messaging is the new direct marketing channel for mobile — enjoying an open rate of five-times that of email. Pushing out mass blasts will not only alienate consumers, but it will also damage brands. Catapult has been specifically designed to help construct the most compelling interactions between businesses and their mobile consumers.”
The addition of Push messaging into Catapult provides businesses with a holistic view of all of their mobile customers, from Push notifications to SMS to mobile wallet, according to the company. Now businesses can use Catapult to set up and deliver Push messages from the same platform and interface they use to manage the rest of their mobile communication channels.
Catapult also provides the following:
